The Study in Holland film wins Gouden Reiger 2009 award! The annual Keying into the Brain-festival awarded Study in Holland a Gouden Reiger in recognition of the promotion film. The jury comprising fourteen experienced communication and multimedia professionals were impressed with the high quality of all entries. Jury chairman Leo Schepman commented: 'The film, in which international students make acquaintance with the Netherlands, is innovative and creative. It portrays cliché images of the Netherlands in a light-hearted fashion.' The film gives you answers to questions such as: Why would international students choose Holland as a study destination? How diverse is the offering of international study programmes? What does an average day look like in Holland, and how internationally-oriented is Dutch society and its education environment? This innovative short film provides answers to all these questions, and more. Through an intense combination of image and sound, you get an almost real time experience of Holland; a sneak preview of living in Holland as an international student. All rights reserved. I go to Holland every year and I would recommend it. Better than going to a crowded beach in Spain!

Where are you on about my friend? Sensation? And Barbara Streisand? Do you really think she is Dutch?

English looks just a dialect of Dutch for me Japanese.

Does learning a lot of languages necassarily make you happier? I don't agree. You can improve your mind in so many ways and be so very happy without knowing any latin or greek. And what does Holland manufacture? What does that mean? In goods: just google it. In people: fantastic academics, scientists, artists and politicians.
