in a book Rudy Sarzo wrote called off the rails it says a lot about the crash, and after reading it i started mto think that the piolot was going to crash into the bus because he was mad at his girlfriend. i think Randy saved Ozzy and the other guys, probably fighting the piolot. Even if i'm wrong, Randy was a kind and very sweet person, who should still be here nomatter the cost...... R. I. P. Randy oh, nothing against you at all, but kelvisparsley64, you spelled his last name wrong.Rhoads

It was 28 years ago today, on a Friday, that the coke-head idiot bus driver caused the music world to lose Randy Rhodes. Just glad I got to see Ozzy and Randy two weeks before that horrible event in Leesburg, FL, when the idiot flying the small prop plane had the bright idea of "buzzing" the parked tour bus 'cause Ozzy and others were still asleep inside. But on the final pass the plane's wing clipped the bus which caused the plane to crash into the mansion. RIP Randy Rhodes!

I remember it all too well, as it was 28 years ago today, on a Friday, that Rhodes foolishly allowed himself to be talked into riding on a plane piloted by a coke-head idiot who had been awake all night driving the tour bus. My only consolation, then and now, was that the idiot pilot died, too. Just glad I got to see Ozzy and Randy two weeks before. Still have the tour shirt and ticket stub. RIP Randy Rhodes!
