Eruyt Village looked very much like Lothlorien. You could say that they where inspirit by it.

Male Vieras do exist according to the Final Fantasy Wiki, but they have never been showed in any game and it's also said that they live for themselves like the female vieras. I also heard that they come togheter when they're about to mate. Or arise each other, at least according to the wiki :)
