The merger of corporate and government powers in modern America is plain and simple fascism, believes Gerald Celente, the founder of the Trends Research Institute and publisher of Trends Journal.

Aside from hm playing into the tea party protests (begun by republicans, don't forget), for the most part he is right. He's got some errors in there, and I think that this guy is being somewhat manipulative by the way he speaks. Aside from that, I agree with him alot. I just think you should use extra caution with his words (use caution with what everyone says regarding politics though, match it up with their record).

What he says is mostly true but beware of any grassroots leaders. They need financing too and fronting your own opposition is a very old game.

Hi Compete24, Improve the ways we select government officials. Use variations of selection methods from the first democracy: elections and random selection with logical screening, etc. Neither a new leader nor a new political party (eg, Green or Tea) will improve things in a lasting way. The current process of selecting government officials is wide open to corruption by extreme wealth and mass media. The selection process must be renewed. Renew democracy.
