This song suits Artemis perfectly. I'm miffed Salvatore didn't bring him in The Ghost King! He's my favorite character and I hope he shows up again someday.

Yes, his vampiric, jeweled dagger killed a shade, draining its life and giving it to the assassin. He is now a demi-shade with a long life span.

Artemis Entreri lives so long cause his vampiric dagger drain the life out of a shadow creature and it gave him the long life not sure if i'm right been a while since i read the books
