He was 27. Justin wasn't found until five hours after the early morning smash in below freezing cold weather, Iowa County Sheriff's Department said. His car swerved off the highway and down a steep embankment and hit two trees just north of Blanchardville, Wisconsin. The Texas-born actor, who was not wearing his seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle. Chief Deputy John Pepper told the Wisconsin State Journal that the accident occurred around 3:30 am, although the wreck wasn't discovered until 8:30 am. Justin was pronounced dead at the scene around 9 am. On Tuesday, his Web site was updated to read, "The family and friends of Justin Mentell thank you for visiting his site.
